Crime Study of Local Area Homework
Task:
You are to create a report about the type of crimes and where they occur in your local area. In your report you must also describe ways of preventing and reducing in crime in your local areas.
Your report must include:
- A map of your local area (use the internet, google earth, A-Z of Leeds, or maps from the geography department library). Your map can be hand drawn (a sketch) if you cannot find a map of your local area.
- On your map, you must show the location of each type of crime tht could happen (or that has happened) in your area. Give reasons for the locations of each of the crimes on your map ( why have they happened in each location).
- Describe ways that these crimes can be reduced or prevented.
